History Faculty of Forestry
Faculty of Forestry, Kasetsart University has evolved from the Forest School of the Royal Forest Department Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives It was opened for the first time in Phrae Province on May 1, 1936. In the first phase, “Forest School, Phrae Province” had a 2-year course of study. There were 25 students in the first year, 17 of whom were Royal Forest Department officials who passed the entrance examination. and select from outsiders who have graduated 8th grade of 8 more people who study according to the course will receive a forestry certificate.

Teaching according to the two-year curriculum has continued until 1939. After that, only 25 students from Grade 8 graduates who have passed competitive examinations per year have been accepted and renamed the Forest School. The “Forestry School” during this period has changed the course from 2 years to 3 years and graduates will receive a Diploma in Forestry. But only those who graduated from Maejo Kasetsart College Preparatory School will be accepted. And has continued to do so until the year 2490, thus accepting students from graduates of pre-university education in general. During this period, the name of Forest Science School was changed to "College of Forestry"

A.D 1943 - 1659
Kasetsart University was established. The College of Forestry has therefore changed its status to "Faculty of Forestry" and is affiliated with Kasetsart University until now and is teaching according to a 5-year bachelor's degree program for the first time.
